Water-mist Fire Protection on Offshore Oil Drilling Platform

Project Introduction

● When conducting oil and gas drilling construction at sea, an offshore oil drilling platform not only needs to provide sufficient support and placement space for a hundreds-of-tons drilling rig, but also needs to have sufficient living space for operators. Also, due to the variability of the offshore climate and the potential damage caused by sea winds, waves, and underwater currents, it’s important that the platform has extensive and reliable safety system, such as fire protection.

● In all important fire prevention areas of production and living, set up pipelines and nozzles. When the fire and smoke alarm device detect danger, the system immediately turns on the high-pressure pump, which generates 12MPa high-pressure water, atomizing through nozzle and isolating oxygen in spaces to achieve effective fire extinguishing effect.
